With over 40 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Bill Fetherolf brings unmatched expertise, leadership, and craftsmanship to Level Up Construction LP.
Bill became a licensed General Contractor in 1999 when he founded Taurus Builders Inc. in Asheville, NC. His commitment to quality quickly earned him key partnerships, including building for Carriage Park in Hendersonville, NC, followed by continued work across the region for Vista Development Partners.
Fueled by a passion for building lasting communities, Bill went on to launch Burnt Chimney Development, where he developed and built several successful residential subdivisions. Even during the challenges of the 2008 housing downturn, Bill stayed the course—completing major multifamily projects throughout the Southern U.S. for large-scale apartment developers.
With a shared vision to raise the standard of home building, Bill partnered with longtime friend Paul Adkins to co-found Level Up Construction LP. Together, they lead a company focused on delivering high-quality construction, efficient project execution, and a commitment to getting the job done right the first time.

Paul Adkins, Vice President of Construction
Paul Adkins is a seasoned construction professional and proud native of Asheville, North Carolina. His journey in the building industry began humbly, crafting log homes in the scenic mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. From there, Paul expanded his experience across the country—working for framing companies in Texas, along the North Carolina coast, and throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area.
His dedication, skill, and leadership propelled him into the multifamily development sector, where he rose through the ranks to become a Senior Superintendent. Paul has led the construction of numerous large-scale apartment communities, including multiple $100+ million projects for some of the South’s most respected developers.
Driven by a shared vision and decades of field experience, Paul joined forces with Bill Fetherolf , a former employer and a life long friend to co-found Level Up Construction—a company built on grassroots values, hard-earned experience, and a commitment to delivering quality at every level.
